Tiny Course Creator ‘Hall Of Fame’

Tiny Courses have unexpectedly become the main component of my business model. It all started with this tiny course, then as I continued following my Human Design strategy, I was guided further and further in this direction.

Now, one of my most popular courses is all about showing others how to create a tiny course! Some of my students had been trying to create their own course for years — until they found my simple approach.

What is a tiny course, exactly?

Here is my definition of a tiny course:

    • It’s a short and very concise course made up of 5-10 lessons

    • Total watch and/or reading time is between 30-90 mins

    • The curriculum gives learners the ‘minimum’ information they need to start creating results (rather than firehosing them with information they may never need).

    • Students receive immense relief and joy from receiving valuable knowledge in a concise, practical, easy-to-implement format — that does not require hours upon hours of screen time.

Tiny Courses don’t equal tiny prices!

I get it, we are used to measuring value in terms of ‘quantity’ — especially when it comes to online courses.

Old-school course creators love to highlight how their courses have 30+ modules, 200 page workbooks, 20 hours of interviews etc, etc.

But have a think about how much you would be willing to pay someone to watch or read even 10 hours of curriculum and distil that down to the essential steps you need right now to create the results you want.

When you do the math you can see the price tag for tiny courses with new eyes!

Could this be a missing piece to your biz model?

Here’s how to know if becoming a tiny course creator is right for you and your business:

    • You’d like to have a tiny course as an on-ramp to your list, rather than have a free opt-in.

    • Your energetic capacity for client-facing time is either unpredictable or very limited, so you need to find alternative ways to generate income.

    • You feel called to share knowledge and teach skills, rather than work one-on-one with clients.

    • There are foundational concepts or systems of your work that you want people to have access to before working with you — or instead of working with you directly.

    • You know you don’t have the energy or desire to create a single large course (and perhaps you’ve been trying to do this for a few years!)

    • You want to create a business asset that allows you to receive passive income.

Tiny Course Creator — Hall Of Fame!

    And now, drumroll please!

Here is the beginning of my Tiny Course Creator Hall Of Fame. The following folks are all graduates of Create a Tiny Course.

How long does it take to create a tiny course?

I recommend pacing the course creation steps out over 10 weeks to give yourself breathing space and minimise the risk of overwhelm.

Create a Tiny Course provides a framework and templates for progressing through these steps, do check that out if you’d rather not start from scratch with your own creation.
